2 pcs, Meissen, design by Heinrich Schwabe (1847 - 1924) from 1880 - 1882, executed after 1882 and before 1924, porcelain, painted in color and decorated in gold, each with a putto above an octagonal base, one as the floating allegory of the day, holding a flower in his left hand and a torch in his right, and as a counterpart a putto as the allegory of the night, wrapped in a veil held by a crown of stars, holding 3 stems with poppy capsules in his right hand, at the feet of the putti on the base a large sunflower with a fluttering titmouse and an owl sitting on a tree trunk, height 51.5 and 52.5 cm, maker's mark, press number, model nos. L 134 and L 135, painter's mark, condition A and B, 'Der Tag' with a glued break on the titmouse
