Description: A galloping horse on an oval base decorated with sculptural flowers. Seated on it is a
rider with a tricorn hat, purple skirt and sword at his hip. He holds the reins in one
hand and a riding crop in the other.
Measurement: 18x16cm.
Mark: No mark discernible.
This model was later also used as the basis for the equestrian group "Augustus the Strong
on Horseback". The design shows the attention to detail of Johann Joachim Kaendler's
models.
