Technique: Porcelain, enriched in colours, painted in gold.
Description: An amphora vase with two angular curved handles on a rectangular plinth. The vase and the
lid with purple base. Each side with a medallion with a richly decorated and engraved gold
border. One of the medallions depicts Venus holding a wreath of flowers over the head of a
putto, while the other depicts Cupid in a celestial chariot holding the goddess in his
arms. Around the foot of the vase and the lid is a laurel wreath, the shape of which is
also used for the lid finial.
Measurement: Height 25cm.
Mark: Swords mark, painted blue under glaze. Porcelain former's numbers 133, CS47.
