Meissen extensive magnificent service for eight people with 112 Parts of the so-called "Swan service", design by Johann Joachim Kändler (1706-1775) and Johann Friedrich Eberlein (1696-1749) on behalf of Heinrich Graf von Brühl (Prime Minister of August III, and Director of the Meissen porcelain manufactory) in order to 1738-1743, all the parts with under glaze blue sword mark, 1. Choice, year, characters from the 1970s to the 1990s, model - and Bosierernummern and gepinselter decor number 397152/237, the magnificent, once for 100 people designed and over 2200 individual parts, comprehensive Service Ensemble, which is regarded as a masterpiece of the Baroque Meissen porcelain art, impresses with its shell-like basic shape, and moving the relief surface of the water wave, Swan, reed, herons and fish motifs, the stylized Dolphin handle, screw knobs and plastic, intricately crafted figures of Greek mythology are decorated with fine polychrome on-glaze painting and everything in addition with "Indian painting" and the gold accessories decorated, this magnificent service consists of the "Terrine with Acis, Galatea, and tritons" (model number 5028) as the center of the festive table, "the Swan, with Cupid as the gravy boat" (5225), twice "box with Swan, and Cupid (or) cupids" (5021 and 5828), twice "Cupid on Dolphin" (73710, and 73376), three times eight plates, eight soup cups with lids, six small bowls, a square bowl with Handle, three round and two oval bowls, a bowl, a gravy boat and asthenkel box, as well as mocha and coffee service, with core pieces and eight place settings, a teapot and a cake dish with feet, suitable for a small clam box (referred to Edition 2003/2004), as well as two small plastic swans as a table decoration, all in perfect and in an unrestored condition, Meissen manufactory added to the price about 150.000 Euro, H pomp terrine 43 cm, H Swan gravy boat 19.5 cm, H box with Swan, 21 and 13 cm, H pots of 15 cm, 18.5 and 25 cm, D dinner plate 32 cm, 28 and 24.5 cm, D plate max. 35 cm, H Delphine approx. 12 cm, H Swan, pair of 6.5 cm.
