Merian, Matthäus (1593 Basel - Bad Schwalbach 1650). 2 Alben mit 150 Graphiken aus verschiedenen graphischen Folgen. Kupferstich, Radierung. Ca. 11,5 cm x ca. 14,5 cm bis ca. 18 cm x 11,5 cm. Montiert mit Umrahmung in Tinte. Pbde. der Zeit (Stark beschabt).
Enthalten unter anderem Stiche der Folgen Novae regionum aliquot amaenissimarum delineationes. Ex naturali locorum. Positu de sumptae, et aeri incisae. Per Mattheum Merianum Basiliensem. Anno 1624. Peter Aubry Excudit, Straßburg, Aubry, 1625. Novae quaedam ac paganae regiunculae circa acidulas Swalbacenses, 1620 (komplett). Weiterhin in Teilen vorhanden: Die 12 Monate in landschaftlichen Darstellungen ohne Jahresangabe (11 von 12, November fehlt.) Die vier Jahreszeiten, Landschaften mit Figuren, Titel und vier lat. Versen, Basil. 1622. Folge von 14 deutschen u. Schweizer Prospekten: Sangern, Meyerhof, Briglingen, Lauffen, Terweiler, der Wald an der Birs, Dellsperg, Altorf bei Dellsperg, Zürchersee, Birse bei Basel, Rohrbach bei Heydelberg, der Neckar, der Lustgarten zu Stuttgart. Folge von 7 franzoesischen Prospekten: Paris, Louvre, Charenton, Chalon, Vorstadt, Der Garten des Herrn von Sillery, Nancy. Folge von 6 deutschen Prospekten: Zur Kraft, Loerch, Blopsen, zur Newstat, zu Mennz. Weiterhin Stadt- und Dorfansichten, Heidelberg u. Umgebung, Landschaften aus der Schweiz bei Lauffen, Rohrbach, Basel etc. - Einige Tafeln in der Platte leicht fleckig o. mit kl. Beschädigungen. Meist gratige Abzüge mit guten Kontrasten, teilweise bis zur Einfassungslinie beschnitten. - Insgesamt schöne Zusammenstellung dieser seltenen Serien. - 2 volumes with 150 graphics from different series, copper engravings and etchings. Contemporary cased boards, heavily rubbed. Few plates slightly stained or with small damages, partly trimmed. Overall nice compilation of these rare series.

If the auction house accepts a request, it will participate in the auction. You can view the current status of a bid at any time in your personal account in the "Bids" section.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
