1916. Aquarell und Bleistift. 39 x 24 cm. R. u. sign. und dat. M. Zeno Diemer 1916, auf dem Rückseitenschutz Etikett des Kunstvereins Speyer, Etiketten mit Titel und Stempel des K.K. Hauptzollamtes Salzburg, unter Glas gerahmt, ungeöffnet. Zustand Stockflecken. Mit der Festung unter dem Flugzeug zeigt Diemer die Vergangenheit der Kriegsführung, mit den Flugzeugen die Zukunft. Bildformat und -ausschnitt verleihen dem Geschehen besondere Dynamik. - Ausstellungen: Kunstverein Speyer - Deutscher Marine- und Landschaftsmaler. D. studierte ab 1884 an der Münchener Akademie bei G. von Hackl und A. von Liezen-Mayer. 1887/88 bereiste er Italien, 1891 malt er für eine Ausstellung in London ein 150 m langes Panorama von Heidelberg. Auf Einladung A. Ballins unternahm er zahlreiche Seereisen und wurde zudem Mitglied des Kaiserlichen Yachtclubs in Kiel. Zahlreiche Ausstellungen und Auszeichnungen würdigten bereits zu Lebzeiten sein Schaffen. Mus.: Bremen (Dt. Schiffahrtsmus.), München (Dt. Mus.), Luzern. Lit.: AKL, Thieme-Becker, Vollmer.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
