An interesting collection of these Milanese newspaper, at first printed weekly, divided into two sections, one dedicated to the local news and the other to the foreign affairs. The Milanese sections is particularly sought after for its detailed accounts about politics, economics, social events and theater happenings. 4to (220 x 170mm). 4 years (one incomplete) bound in 4 volumes: 52 numbers from 7 January to 30 December 1781; from n. 9 of 28 February 1785 to 52 of 26 December 1785 (lacking n.16); 52 numebers from 2 January to 27 December 1786; 52 numbers from 7 January to 30 December 1787; numbers 1-9, 11-26, 28-52 from 6 January to 29 December 1794; numbers 1,8,9,12, 14-38, 40-42, 45-85, 87-100 from 2 January 1800 to 15 December 1800; (some spotting). Contemporary boards with later manuscript titles in ink on spine, one year loose and one in contemporary wrappers [there are also some loose numbers].
