Achtkantiger, in rund übergehender Lauf mit glatter Seele im Kaliber 17 mm. Über der Kammer ungedeutete Marke. Schloss mit außenliegendem Rad, die Platte gestempelt "HW", gefederte Pfannenabdeckung. Auf der Gegenseite verschraubte Reitstange mit Tragering. Vollschäftung aus Nussbaumholz, kleine Restaurierungen unterhalb des Schlosses. Originaler hölzerner Ladestock mit eisernem Dopper und Gewindehülse mit Kugelkrätzer. Länge 105 cm. Dabei passender militärischer Radschlossschlüssel, Länge 16 cm.
A German military wheellock carbine, probably Suhl, circa 1650/60
Octagonal to round barrel with smooth bore in 17 mm calibre. Undescribed mark at the breech. Lock with external wheel, the plate stamped "HW", spring-loaded pan cover. Bolted to the other side a cavalry staple with carrying ring. Walnut full stock, small repairs under the lock. Original wooden ramrod with iron tip and threaded sleeve with worm. Length 105 cm. Including matching military wheellock key, length 16 cm.
