Édition originale de ce célèbre ouvrage de procédure criminelle, magnifiquement illustré de 13 grands bois à pleine page. Partant d'une affaire criminelle fictive - un gentilhomme, qui a perdu un procès, décide de se venger et engage des soldats déserteurs pour assassiner ses adversaires et leur avocat, dans un quartier de la rive droite à Paris - Jean de Milles décrit toutes les étapes de l'enquête en se reférant aux textes de loi, de l'assassinat, à l'exécution des coupables en passant par l'enquête (étude de la scène du crime, interrogatoire des témoins, la question).
Chaque étape est illustrée de bois gravés à pleine page.
Cette illustration est considérée comme de très grande qualité (Firmin-Didot parle même de chef-d'oeuvre) et est attribuée soit à Mercure Jollart, soit au Maître de François de Rohan, ou encore à un artiste de l'atelier de Geoffroy Tory.

Reliure de l'époque : veau brun, double encadrement à froid des plats avec fleur de lys aux angles. Plusieurs galeries de vers traversent l'exemplaire, avec très légère atteinte au texte sans gravité, quelques renforts en marges, dos refait.

After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
