Ahasuerus Fromanteel (1607 - 1693), bekannter Londoner Uhrmacher, der als erstes das 1657 von Constantin Huygens erfundene Uhrpendel in englischen Uhren verwendete.
Rectangular case of silver and fire-gilt brass, mounted on four pear-shaped feet. The dial with Roman numerals, one blued iron hand. A city scene with a windmill engraved on the dial. The case deeply etched with decorative tendrils, signed "Fromanteel" below the dial. The bow with appliquéd nielloed plaque, bearing the monogram "PM". Small movement access door in engraved silver, inset with glass panels, and spring-loaded locking levers (one door slightly damaged, the glass loose). The bell in a fire-gilt bell cage, an engraved plaque on the side. Verge escapement with a short, pear-shaped rear pendulum. Striking the hour on a bell. In need of repair. Pull chain with a silver-coated lead weight. Mounted on the original wall bracket of finely engraved, fire-gilt brass.Height of the clock 15.5 cm, including the wall bracket 21 cm.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
