Miniaturgemälde des Prinzen von Savoyen Thomas Francois de Carignan (1596-1656)
Äußerst feinmalerisches Porträt des Prinzen mit langem, gewelltem, braunem Haar und Schnurrbart. Gekleidet in repräsentativ glänzender, schwarzer Prunkrüstung mit breitem Spitzenkragen sowie -manschetten und großem Goldanhänger vor der Brust. In der rechten Hand einen Kommandostab haltend, die Linke auf dem passenden Rüstungshelm mit aufgeklapptem Visier seitlich auf einem Tisch ruhend. Um seine Hüfte geschwungener, roter Gürtel mit Halterung für seitlichen Degen. Beige-roter Hintergrund, linke Seite mit angedeutetem, gerafftem Vorhang. L. u. bez. und dat. "Thoma Sabaudia Princeps de Carignan 1633". Nach dem Gemälde von Anthonis van Dycks (1599-1641). Vergoldeter Prunkrahmen verso mit Inv.-Nr. "631". Feine Temperamalerei. 17 cm x 14,5 cm.
Thomas Franz von Savoyen-Carignan trat als General in die spanischen Dienste und kämpfte später auf französischer Seite. Ab 1633 lebte er in den südlichen Niederlanden, wo er ca. 1634 von Anthonis van Dyck porträtiert wurde.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
