First edition of Montanari's first publication with observations on the passage of the famous comet of 1664-1665, observed from Bologna. The scientist, in whose work there are numerous references to Galileo, Cassini, Keplero, was not only an esteemed scholar but also a empiric scientist, designer of telescopes and measurements instruments.
