Der Verfasser Bernard de Montfaucon (1655-1741) war Benediktiner aus der Kongregation von Saint Maur und gilt sowohl als bedeutender Herausgeber patristischer Werke (u.a. Athanasius und Johannes Chrysostomus), als auch als Pionier der griechischen Paläographie). - Innen schwach gebräunt, vereinzelt schwach wasserrandig, wenige unbedeutende Läsionen, insg. sehr gut erhalten. Ehemaliges Bibliotheksex. - Rare and extremely comprehensive monumental work on the history of France, magnificently illustrated with 306 copper plates, some of which are double-page in size. The author Bernard de Monfaucon (1655 - 1741) was a Benedictine from the Congregation of Saint Maur and is considered both an important editor of patristic works (including Athanasius and John Chrysostom) and a pioneer of Greek palaeography. 5 volumes. Contemporary leather binding with gilt spines. Boards slightly rubbed, pages slightly browned, a few minor water stains and insignificant lesions, overall in very good condition.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
