Silber, vergoldet, am Scharnier des Drückers gemarkt (undeutlich). Breiter Standfuß, sich konisch verjüngender Korpus mit reichem Reliefdekor. Schauseitig in quadratischem Feld eine vielfigurige Schlachtenszene vor mittelalterlicher Stadtmauer, bekrönt von Minervakopf und geflügelten Engeln. Seitlich in groteskenbekrönten Lorbeerkränzen Brustbilder von Kriegern mit Helmzier, flankiert von wilden Männern, Fruchtbündeln und Schweifwerk. Unter dem Henkel eine weitere Kartusche mit Wappen in Form zweier gekreuzter Harken. Gewölbter Deckel mit reichem Frucht- und Schweifwerkdekor, ein plastischer Putto als Bekrönung und eine Nixe mit Daumenrast als Drücker, Henkel mit weiterer Nixe. Partiell leicht beschädigt, Altersspuren. Höhe 36 cm. Gewicht ca. 2,2 kg.

A monumental German vermeil tankard, circa 1900
Gilt silver, an illegible hallmark on the hinge of the thumb piece. Broad base, the conically tapering body with lavish decoration in relief. A square field on the front with a multi-figured battle scene before a mediaeval city wall, surmounted by the head of Minerva and winged angels. Half-length portraits of warriors with crested helmets in laurel wreaths crowned with grotesques around the sides, flanked by wild men, bunches of fruit and ribbons. Another cartouche below the handle with a coat of arms featuring two crossed rakes. The domed lid with lavish fruit and ribbon décor, a fully sculptured putto as the finial and a mermaid with a thumb hook as the lever, another mermaid on the handle. Slightly damaged in places, signs of age. Height 36 cm. Weight approximately 2.2 kg.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
