Teilvergoldet sowie Elfenbein. Über getreppt ansteigendem Postament von schlanken, kannelierten Säulen getragener Sockel. Hohe, sich gering verjüngende, vierfach unterteilte Säule. In den umlaufenden vertikalen Kanneluren insges. 68 aufgelegte Kanonenrohre. Bekrönende, voll vergoldete Figur der Viktoria mit Adlerhelm. Fuß, Arme und Kopf aus detailliert geschnittenem Elfenbein. In der linken Hand ein Feldzeichen mit Eisernem Kreuz und in der Rechten einen Lorbeerkranz. Gest. 800, Herstellerzeichen. Gewicht ca. 3090 g. H. 98 cm.
Die Berliner Siegessäule wurde nach einem Entwurf von Heinrich Strack (1805-1880) als Denkmal ab 1864 erbaut und 1873 eingeweiht. Die ursprünglich dreigeteilte Säule erinnert an die Siege Preußens in den drei Einigungskriegen. 1938/1939 wurde die Siegessäule an ihren heutigen Standort versetzt und um ein viertes Segment erhöht.
Königin Victoria von England diente dem Bildhauer Friedrich Drake (1805-1882) als Vorbild für die Bekrönung der Säule.
Ende des 19. Jahrhunders stellten die auf Silber des Historismus spezialisierten Hanauer Firmen in erster Linie Ehrengeschenke, Prunkgeräte und Schaustücke zu Repräsentationszwecken her. Die 1938 gegründete Firma Oswald Nachfolger übernahm verschiedene Hanauer Firmen, z. B. Kurz & Co. oder Rauch & Co. und stellt in deren Tradition bis heute Silbergerät her.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
