Lot 406 | MORAVIAN HORIZONTAL CLOCK,
MORAVIAN HORIZONTAL CLOCK, around 1730-40 century, gilded brass, hexagonal movement case standing on silver-plated paw feet, six-sided glass wall behind attached decorative frame, upper front plate with engraved decorations and applied numeral ring with Roman numerals, verge movement with worms, chain drive and pierced verge bridge, movement open the back plate inscribed: "Ioh: Carl Pawlizek in Ollmütz", striking mechanism controlled by two rakes with strike at quarter, half and full hour on two horizontal bells, small lever at the top of the front panel for stopping the strike and triggering the strike. HxD: 11/19 cm. Signs of age and wear, part. restored or supplemented, functional in a short test.
