Ca. 97mm lang, 18K Gold, beidseitig feinste florale Gravuren, ausklappen der Gläser über Sprungfedermechanik, Mittelteil blau emailliert und mit Diamantrosen besetzt, aufklappbar, darunter das versteckte Uhrwerk, signiert Czapek & Cie. Geneve No.2551, Miniatur-Zylinderwerk mit Emaillezifferblatt und Stahlzeigern, sehr seltenes Kaliber, gangbar. Diese museale Uhr stammt aus der Anfangszeit der berühmten Manufaktur Patek Philippe. Es sind nur einige wenige solcher Exemplare bekannt, die Patek oder Czapek signiert sind. Die Nummer 2277, datiert 1847, wurde in Genf versteigert und erzielte 34.500 Schweizer Franken (valuableauctions.com/al/reports/viewReportGroups.cfm?mode=stats). Am 1. Mai 1839 gründeten Antoni Patek und François Czapek in Genf eine sechsjährige Partnerschaft unter dem Namen Patek, Czapek & Cie. Diese Partnerschaft brachte einige außergewöhnliche Uhren hervor, die Teil einiger wichtigen Uhrensammlung sind (z.B. King Farouk Collection, Patek Philippe Museum Collection). Nach der Auflösung 1845 gründete Antoni Patek "Patek Philippe & Co." mit dem neuen Partner Adrien Philippe. Czapek gründete Czapek & Cie., ebenfalls mit einem neuen Partner, Juliusz Gruzewski, einem engen Freund des französischen Kaisers Napoleon III. Czapeks neues Unternehmen florierte. Er wurde Hofuhrmacher des Kaisers Napoleon III. („Fournisseur de la cour – Hoflieferanten“) und hatte ein Atelier in Genf, ein Geschäft in Paris, Place Vendome 28 (gegründet 1850), und ein weiteres in Warschau (gegründet 1854).

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
