Großes, mit Ebenholz furniertes Kabinett mit Beschlägen aus feuervergoldeter Bronze. Sockelzone mit zwei abschließbaren Schubladen. Kasten mit Gliederung durch drei Pfeiler, die Türen, ebenso wie die Seiten und der Deckel, mit fein unterteilten Kassetten dekoriert. Scharniergelagerte, abschließbare Deckellade mit verborgenem Schlüsselloch, das Innere mit blauer Seide ausgekleidet, Im Deckel achtkantiger, alter Spiegel. Die Innenseite des Kastens architektonisch gegliedert, die seitlichen Schubladen ebenso wie die Türen mit feiner, teils plastischer Seidenstickerei dekoriert (stellenweise leicht verschlissen). Hinter der zentralen Tür neun weitere kleine Schubfächer. Mehrere verdeckte Schubfächer und verschiedene Geheimfächer. Originale, vergoldete Schlösser und Beschläge, die Schlüssel teils ergänzt. An der linken Seite gestempelt "R" mit Krone, wohl ein französischer Steuerstempel für Objekte mit Kupferanteil zwischen 1754 und 1749. Maße 80 x 84 x 42,5 cm. Extrem kostbares Kabinett in höfischer Qualität. Die Inneneinrichtung aus bestickter Seide ist von größter Seltenheit, da sie, im Gegensatz zu Kabinetten mit Dekor aus Metall oder Elfenbein, sehr vergänglich ist und sich daher nur wenige Exemplare erhalten haben. Vergleichsstücke befinden sich unter anderem im Musée Royaux d'art et d'Histoire in Brüssel sowie im Museum Rockoxhuis in Antwerpen. The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
