Walnussholz, Bein, Eisenscharniere und Haken. Beidseitig feinste Einlagearbeit in der Art der Embriachi-Werkstatt. Auf dem Deckel ein Schachbrett, innen ein Backgammon-Spielfeld. Das Backgammon-Spielfeld mit aufwendigen, teils kolorierten Holzeinlagen. Altersspuren, minimale Fehlstellen. Maße 4,5 x 27 x 15 cm (geschlossen) bzw. 30 x 27,5 cm (geöffnet).
A Venetian bone-inlaid wooden "alla certosina" game board of museum quality, circa 1500
Walnut, bone, iron hinges and hook. Delicate marquetry craftsmanship on both sides in the style of the Embriachi workshop. The top featuring a chessboard, the inside designed for backgammon. The backgammon board with elaborate wood inlays, some coloured. Signs of age, minor defects. Dimensions 4.5 x 27 x 15 cm (closed) and 30 x 27.5 cm (opened).

Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
