Lot 3120 | Musteradler im originalen Etui, um 1804
Fein ausgeführtes, erhabenes Gipsmedaillon, von goldener Leiste eingefasst. Der Adler hält einen Palmwedel und einen Kranz in seinen Krallen. In der originalen, mit meergrünem Samt gefütterten Kassette aus gold bedrucktem Maroquinleder, der Deckel (etwas verzogen) gefüttert mit gepolsterter, cremefarbener Seide, der Boden grün beledert. Partiell leicht beschädigt, Altersspuren. Durchmesser 23 cm. Maße der Kassette 26 x 26 x 4 cm.
Entwurf in edler Kassette zur Präsentation und Abnahme, höchstwahrscheinlich ein Projekt in kaiserlichem Auftrag.

A model eagle in original case, circa 1804
Very detailed, raised plaster medallion surrounded by a gilt edge. The eagle holding a palm frond and a wreath in its talons. In original box of gold embossed Morocco leather with sea green velvet lining, the (slightly warped) lid lined with padded cream-coloured silk, the base with green leather. Partially slightly damaged, signs of age. Diameter 23 cm. Dimensions of box 26 x 26 x 4 cm.
Model in an elegant box for presentation and acceptance, most likely a project commissioned by the emperor.

Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
