Militärpass des 1880 geborenen Kaufmannes und Luftschiffers Leopold Berliner mit Diensteintrittsdatum 23.8.1915 und Stempel der "Ersatz-Abteilung des Luftschiffer-Batls. Nr. 5". Ferner zwei Urlaubsscheine und eine Urkunde als Krankenträger. Weiterhin (auf Karton geklebt) die Verleihungsurkunde des "Ehrenkreuzes für Kriegsteilnehmer" (3.7.1935) und Glückwunschschreiben zum 50. Geburtstag (24.3.1930). Dazu vier Fotos (auf Karton geklebt) mit Uniformportrait Leopold Berliners und Luftschiffbesatzung Z IV sowie zwei neuzeitlichen Abzügen von Schriftstücken. Außerdem ein originales Stück der feinst gewebten Außenhaut vom Zeppelin LZ 11 "Viktoria Luise", Maße ausgefaltet ca. 48 x 59 cm, alt beschriftet "Victoria Luise beim Landen verunglückt". Teilweise beschädigt, Altersspuren. Einzigartiger Nachlass, extrem rar.
Mit dem Ausbruch des Ersten Weltkrieges musste das Verkehrsluftschiff LZ 11 an das deutsche Heer abgegeben werden und diente dort als Schulschiff. Am 8.10.1915 wurde es beim Einhallen auf dem Luftschiffhafen Liegnitz zerstört.

Military pass of the merchant and airship crew member Leopold Berliner, born 1880, with service entry date 23 August 1915 and stamp (tr.) "Substitute division of Airship Battalion No. 5". Comes with two leave passes and a certificate as orderly. Also, the award document (glued on cardboard) for the (tr.) "Cross of Honour for Non-Combatants" (3 July 1935) and letter of congratulations on his 50th birthday (24 March 1930). Furthermore, four photographs (pasted on cardboard) with uniform portrait of Leopold Berliner and airship crew Z IV as well as two modern photocopies of documents. Also included are an original piece of the finely woven outer skin of Zeppelin LZ 11 "Viktoria Luise", dimensions unfolded ca. 48 x 59 cm, with old inscription (tr.) "Viktoria Luise crashed during landing". Partly damaged, traces of age. Unique estate, extremely rare.
When Word War I broke out, the commercial airship LZ 11 had to be handed over to the German army, where it served as a training airship. On 8 October 1915, it was destroyed while being placed in its hangar at the Liegnitz airship station.

After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
