Nachlass eines Stabsgefreiten des Grenadier Regimentes 442/Stabskompanie. Das GR aufgestellt am 5. Januar 1940 im Raum Görlitz aus Teilen der Infanterie-Regimenter 429 und 417. Am 15. Oktober 1942 Umbennenung in Grenadier-Regiment 44, schwere Kämpfe in Russland. Dort wurde die Infanterie-Division 168 während der sowjetischen Großoffensive ab dem 12. Januar 1945 nahezu vollständig vernichtet. Bei Glatz in Schlesien kapitulierten 1945 die letzten Einheiten dieser Truppe.

Ein viel getragener Orden, Ostmedaille am Band/Winterschlacht im Osten, Urkunde vom 09. August 1942, Unterschrift von Kommandeur Armin Spiethoff (Ritterkreuz, Ehrenblattspangen und DK-Träger). Ein Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse am Band mit Schwertern, Urkunde vom 15. März 1944, ausgestellt im Divisionsgefechtstand, Unterschrift i.V. des Kommandeurs, Stempel der 168. Infanterie-Division. Ein eisernes Kreuz/EK 2 am Band, ausgestellt im Osten am 27. September 1944, Unterschrift des stellvertretenden Div.-Kommandeurs und ein Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz, Buntmetall, ein Besitzzeugnis hierzu, für die am 13. Oktober 1944 erlittene Verwundung, ausgestellt am 24. Oktober 1944, Unterschrift vom Oberst und Chefarzt im Kriegslazarett 4/591 mit Stempel. Schöner Nachlass eines in Russland kämpfenden und dekorierten Soldaten, insgesamt guter Zustand mit Alters- und Tragespuren.
