Nägele, Reinhold Murrhardt in 1884 - 1972 Stuttgart, painter and printmaker, co-founder of the Stuttgart secession, 1952 award of the Professor title. Portfolio "Pegasus", a graphic sequence of title page, and 7 etchings with the winged mythical creatures as the Subject, the bottom signed in the plate/signed with monogram and dated 1919, lower right Hand-with pencil signed and dated, below on the left Hand with a pencil, on the inside of the folder 26/50 numbered, printed under the supervision of the artist at J. Niederbühl, Stuttgart, edited by Dr. Benno Filser art publishers, Stuttgart, 1919, etching/"van Gelder Zonen"-laid paper (with watermark), height x width: up to approx. 29/18,5 cm (plate), CA. 51/34 cm (folder). Per in passe-partout behind glass framed. Original half-linen portfolio (with traces of age and use, linen restored.) attached. A copy of the invoice of the Kunsthaus Schaller's, of Stuttgart below. Literature: Brigitte Reinhardt, Reinhold Nägele, factory directory etchings 1919.3 to 1919.10, page 284, with illustrations.
