Nan Qi wurde 1960 in Yongkang City, Provinz Zhejiang, China, geboren. Im Gegensatz zu den meisten chinesischen Künstlern, die ihre Ausbildung an einer Kunstschule erhalten, wurde er in der Armee ausgebildet und schloss erfolgreich den Kurs für chinesische Malerei an der Akademie der schönen Künste der Volksbefreiungsarmee in Peking ab. Seine künstlerische Neugier führte ihn 1990 nach England und Frankreich, wo er sich intensiv mit europäischer Kunst auseinandersetzte. Im Jahr 1995 entschied er sich für eine neue Heimat in Hongkong und begann eine beeindruckende internationale Karriere mit Ausstellungen in Tokio, Singapur, den Niederlanden, Hongkong und China, bevor er 2002 nach Peking zurückkehrte. Obwohl seine früheren Arbeiten Öl- und Acrylgemälde umfassten, spezialisierte sich Nan Qi auf die Tuschemalerei. Heute wird er von vielen in China und weltweit als "Meister der Tuschepunkte" gerühmt. Nan Qi hat an zahlreichen renommierten Ausstellungen teilgenommen, darunter die Contemporary International Art Fair in Miami, die Royal Academy of Art in London, die 4. internationale Kunstbiennale in Peking, das Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia, das National Art Museum in Peking, die 3. Biennale in Chengdu und das Shenzhen Art Museum. Seine Kunstwerke sind sowohl in China als auch international begehrt und wurden vielfach ausgezeichnet. Nan Qi was born in 1960 in Yongkang City, Zhejiang Province, China. Unlike most Chinese artists who receive their training at an art school, he was trained in the army and successfully completed the Chinese painting course at the Academy of Fine Arts of the People's Liberation Army in Beijing. His artistic curiosity led him to England and France in 1990, where he intensively studied European art. In 1995, he decided to make a new home in Hong Kong and began an impressive international career with exhibitions in Tokyo, Singapore, the Netherlands, Hong Kong and China before returning to Beijing in 2002. Although his earlier work included oil and acrylic paintings, Nan Qi specialised in ink painting. Today, he is praised by many in China and around the world as the ''master of ink dots''. Nan Qi has participated in numerous prestigious exhibitions, including the Contemporary International Art Fair in Miami, the Royal Academy of Art in London, the 4th Beijing International Art Biennale, the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia, the National Art Museum in Beijing, the 3rd Chengdu Biennale and the Shenzhen Art Museum. His artworks are sought after both in China and internationally and have won many awards. First of all, you should register to be able to purchase at auction. After confirming your email address, enter your personal information in your user profile, such as your first name, last name, and mail address. Choose a lot from the upcoming auction and the maximum amount you want to place on it. After confirmation of your choice, we will send your application by e-mail to the appropriate auction house. The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
