Dietrich (modeller), 1922 Realistically modelled and overglaze painted. Underglaze green hammer and sickle stamp, signed in Cyrillic 'Diet' and dated '1922', number 'N 288/2'. The figure represents a gypsy woman predicting the future for a fashionably dressed lady. This subject carries a subtle irony and reflects an everyday scene that could be observed on the streets during the NEP (New Economic Policy) from 1921 to 1928. 19.8 cm high.

Die Figur stellt eine Zigeunerin dar, die einer modisch gekleideten Dame die Zukunft voraussagt. Dieses Sujet trägt eine subtile Ironie in sich und spiegelt eine Alltagsszene wider, die während der NEP (Neuen Ökonomischen Politik) von 1921 bis 1928 auf den Straßen zu beobachten war.
