Nay-Stiftung, Köln für freundliche Auskunft.Provenienz: Privatsammlung SüddeutschlandDie vorliegende Komposition zählt zu den Arbeiten, die als Übergang zu den 1954-1956 entstehenden Scheibenbildern Nays gesehen werden können. Gerundete Farbflächen, die teils wie vegetabile Gebilde wirken, werden rhythmisiert in die Bildebene gesetzt und alterieren mit Stufen- oder Schachbrettformen. Die lichtdurchfluteten Farben, die speziell durch die Aquarelltechnik zum Tragen kommen, generieren musische Klänge, die mittels schwarzer Flächen und Linien eine kontrapunktische oder harmonisierende Taktgebung erfahren. ''Die gegenläufigen, diagonalen Kräfte, wie sie sich 1954 ausdrückten, beginnen 1955 zu verschleifen. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
