To his left, a pedestal with ornamental figures, above which the branches of a tree. A view of a landscape on the right. Signed "Maes" in the background on the left. In an old, gilt, moulded frame. Dimensions 58 x 46 cm, including frame 82 x 71 cm.
Nicolas Maes (1634-93) was a Dutch painter who initially worked in Rembrandt's atelier in Amsterdam, later in Dordrecht and Antwerp.

Öl auf Eichenholz. Darstellung des sitzenden jungen Prinzen mit Haube und über eine Schulter gelegtem Mantel. In seiner linken Hand ein Bogen, zu seinen Füßen ein Köcher mit Pfeilen. Links von ihm ein Sockel mit Figurenschmuck, darüber die Äste eines Baumes. Auf der rechten Seite ein Landschaftausblick. Links im Hintergrund signiert "Maes". In altem vergoldeten Leistenrahmen. Maße 58 x 46 cm, mit Rahmen 82 x 71 cm.

After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
