Prunkvoll mit Girlanden, Ranken und Voluten verzierter Rokoko-Spiegel aus vergoldetem Massivholz. Der aufwendig durchbrochen gearbeitete Aufsatz mit zwei michelangelesk gewendeten Frauenfiguren mündet in einem dramatisch auf einer Jardinère thronenden Putto. Maße ca. 215 x 125 cm.
François Linke (1855 - 1946) gilt als einer der bedeutendsten Pariser Ebenisten der Zeit des Rokoko bzw. des Klassizismus. 1881 eröffnete er im lokalen Zentrum von Paris eine eigene Kunstschreinerei, die einen lang anhaltenden Erfolg verzeichnen konnte.

Rococo mirror in solid, gilt wood, magnificently embellished with garlands, tendrils and volutes. The elaborately openwork top piece features two female figures turned in Michelangelo-style and is crowned by a putto, enthroned dramatically on a jardinière. Dimensions approx. 215 x 125 cm.
François Linke (1855 - 1946) is regarded as one of the most significant Parisian ébenistes, or cabinetmakers, of the Rococo or Classicist period. In 1881, Linke opened his own cabinetmaking workshop in the local centre of Paris, which enjoyed long-lasting success.

Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
