Provenienz: Ex - Sammlung Professor G. A. Tammann. Versteigert am 4. bis 5- November 2008 in Basel von der UBS AG unter der Losnummer 212.
Dort wird angegeben, dass dieses Stück aus dem Besitz des italienischen Außenministers Galeazzo Ciano, Conte di Cortellazzo (903 - 1944) stammt. Ciano wurde auf Befehl Mussolinis hingerichtet.
Order of Saints Cyril and Methodius, a lesser collar
Lesser collar, consisting of 13 fleur-de-lys and 13 lion medallion links, badge and chain of gilt silver, the chain links enamelled on one side, the attached badge and the fire rays enamelled on both sides, the front medallion with fine enamel painting. The collar in the very rare original presentation case covered with grey cloth, the lid imprinted with the Bulgarian tsarist crown in gold.
Provenance: Former collection of Professor G. A. Tammann. Sold in Basel at the auction of UBS AG on 4 and 5 November 2008 under lot No. 212.
It is stated there that this item comes from the possession of the Italian Foreign Minister Galeazzo Ciano, Conte di Cortellazzo (1903 - 1944). Ciano was executed on Mussolini’s order.

The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
