aus Maiglöckchen und Vergissmeinnicht
Über ausgestelltem, rundem, vergoldetem Stand balusterförmiger Korpus mit verjüngender Schulter, in eingezogenen Hals mit ausschwingendem Rand übergehend. Über dem Fuß dichter Blätterfond mit blühenden, weißen Maiglöckchen, in Blütenstängel mit blauen, durch vertikale Goldfelder konturierte Vergissmeinnicht übergehend. Die Schulter mit Ormantenbordüre, der Hals mit korrespondierenden Blüten. Feine polychrome Malerei mit Goldstaffage. Dekor-Entw. Ludwig Guner. Modell-Nr. 50236. Schwertermarke. H. 47 cm.
Der gebürtige Dresdener Ludwig Gruner (1801-1882) war zunächst als Künstler und Kupferstecher bei Carl August Richter in der Lehre. Im Zuge auffallend vieler Auslandsaufenthalte in Italien, Spanien und Frankreich, kam er Anfang der 1840er Jahre nach England, wo er vom Königshaus entdeckt, gefördert wurde und als künstlerischer Berater für Prinz Albert und Königin Victoria am Aufbau ihrer Kunstsammlung maßgeblich beteiligt war. Zurück in Deutschland wurde Gruner 1858 Direktor des Dresdener Kupferstichkabinetts und erhielt eine Professur an der Kunstakademie. Seinem aufkeimenden Interesse an Gartenkunst folgten Illustrationen, wie das 1861 geschaffene Maiglöckchendekor für ein Meissener Service, das auf der Londoner Weltausstellung 1862 mit einer Goldmedaille prämiert wurde.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
