mit Gelbfond und Kakiemondekor
Über ausgestelltem, rundem Stand balusterförmig ansteigender Korpus mit gerundeter Schulter und abgesetzten, leicht konischem Hals. Hochgewölbter Deckel mit stilisiertem Pinienknauf. Beidseitig der Wandung und auf dem Deckel, in zitronengelbem Fond vierpassig ausgesparte Reserven mit farbenprächtigem Indianischem Blumendekor im Kakiemonstil aus emporragendenen Päonien- und Chrysanthemenstauden und -gebinden auf weißem Grund. Polychrome, goldgehöhte Malerei in Eisenrot, Purpur, See- und Moosgrün, Emailblau und Gelb. Der Hals mit vereinzelten Blütenzweigen und Insekten. Formerzeichen, wohl für Johann Christoph Pietzsch (tätig seit 1732) oder Johann Daniel Rehschuh (tätig um ca. 1723 - 1749). Teil. unw. rest.; AR (Augustus Rex)-Marke. Meissen. Um 1730 - 1735. H. 37 cm - 38,5 cm.
Porzellanausformungen der Meißener Manufaktur, welche die Marke "AR" (Augustus Rex) in Unterglasurblau tragen, sind ausschließlich für August den Starken gefertigt worden. Sie waren Bestandteil der privaten, königlichen Sammlung oder dienten als Geschenk für internationale Fürsten- bzw. Königshäuser oder hochgestellte Persönlichkeiten. August dem Starken waren aus seiner umfangreichen Sammlung an ostasiatischen Porzellanen flächendeckende Fonds mit ausgesparten Reserven als Gestaltung an chinesischen Jingdezhen-Porzellanen bekannt. Um dem Wunsch August des Starken nach farbigen Fonds nachzukommen, experimentierte Johann Gregorius Hoeroldt, Schöpfer der frühen Meissener Gefäßgestaltung, zwischen 1725 und 1730 mit unterschiedlichen Farbtönen für Porzellanflächen und schuf die Voraussetzungen für die sog. Fondporzellane. Die ersten, 1727 ins Inventar des Japanischen Palais eingetragenen Farben waren Gelb, Dunkelgrün, Celadon, Olive, Braun und Paille (Strohfarben).

A pair of yellow ground "Augustus Rex" vases with Kakiemon decor. Brightly colored Indian flower decor of Peonies and Chrysanthemum branches painted in iron-red, sea and moss green, purple, enamel blue and yellow, framed in quatrefoil purple-edged panels. Dreher's mark on the bottom. Partly insignificantly restored. AR mark.

Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
