Der Elefant wird mit Stärke, Weisheit und Intelligenz assoziiert und genießt auch im buddhistischen Glauben ein hohes Ansehen. Ein Elefant, der eine Vase auf dem Rücken trägt, bildet das Rebus Taiping Youxiang, das den Wunsch nach Frieden und Harmonie ausdrückt.
