China. In the style of the Yongzheng period, but later.

Fine and thin-walled pottery, porcelain, interior and exterior of yellow glazed, the floor is transparent. Elegant shell shape with a swing-out lip, a small, somewhat retracted foot ring. The yellow glaze with a fine Irisé.

The inside and the outside yellow peel were glazed reserved for use by the Emperor, the Empress and the Empress mother. Weight 97/103g, approx. height 5.7 cm, Ø 12cm. In base, under glaze blue six-piece Yongzheng mark in a double ring, but probably later. Condition B/C. minor scratches due to use. A bowl with a small crack in the wall.
Provenance:
Collection Sonderhoff. Locally acquired before 1942. In the bottom of one of the shells, an old collection number, not decipherable.
