Auf rechteckigem Sockel über Messingplinthe vollplastisch gestaltete, abstrahierende Darstellung einer jungen Frau bzw. eines jungen Mannes. Hermenartig aufgebaute Plastiken aus hohem, rundem Pfeilerschaft mit aufgesetztem Oberkörper, Kopf und Händen, frei modelliert und bossiert. Polychrome Aufglasurmalerei mit radiertem Gold. Form- und Dekor-Entw. sowie Ausführung Peter Strang (1936 - 2022). Reliefiertes, ligiertes Künstler-Monogr. PS (Werkstattzeichen). Geritzte Unikat-Nr. 92/2001 und 99/2001. Unterglasurblaue Schwertermarke. H. 46 cm - 47 cm.
Der kürzlich verstorbene Peter Strang gilt als einer der wichtigsten Figurenmodelleure der Meissener Porzellanmanufaktur in der zweiten Hälfte des 20. Jhs.; Seine figürlichen Arbeiten spiegeln die große Experimentierfreude und den Phantasiereichtum seines Schaffens wider. Die in den künstlerischen Werkstätten der Staatlichen Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen entstandenen Plastiken sind in Form und Malerei einmalige Objekte und damit Unikate.
