Counterparts. 2-leaved; Of a strong curly leaf volutes framed Plinth with the figure of a in dancing attitude of the harlequins in coloured, diamond patterned waistcoat over a white knee-breeches with flatbed or Scapins with a white cloak over a purple jacket and seegrüner pants, in the left Hand, a cap-retaining. Rear side of the ascending, widely branched, Branches from green lamb metal. Vincennes-flowers, on both sides in the calyx-shaped spout on naturalistic leaf wreath using. Design Peter Reinicke. Bronze mount stamped "winning C" (Paris, 1745 - 1749). H. 25.5 cm - 26.5 cm.
The design for the figure of the cycle "Italian Comedy," was produced by Peter Reinicke 1743/1744 for Johann Adolph II, Duke of weißenfels. Zimmermann, Fig. 71; Pietsch, No. 366f.
A pair of apply bronze mounted figural candlesticks with porcelain figures of harlequin and scapin from the series of Commedia dell'arte. With crowned C mark is a bronze mount.
