PAIR OF GEORGE III SILVER SALT CELLARS.

Knight, George. London.

Date: 1818/19.
Technique: Silver with gilt interior.
Description: On each cellar heraldic engraving with motto "Anchora certa salutis".
Weight: Ca. 290g.
Measurement: Height each 5cm, ø 10cm.
Mark: Inspection mark London 1818/19, maker's mark George Knight (after 1818, Grimwade no.840).

- Both in good, age-typical condition with the corresponding rubbing and fine superficial scratches. - Some very small, punctiform dents on the outer wall.
