Парные скульптуры «Укротители коней» или «Кони Марли». Мраморная скульптурная группа «Укротители коней» была создана в 1740-1745 гг. Гийомом Кусту старшим (Guillaume Coustou I, 1677-1746) - известным французским скульптором первой половины XVIII в., работавшим над убранством дворцов и парков Версаля, Марли, Тюильри и Трианона. Скульптуры были заказаны Людовиком XV из каррарского мрамора для украшения террасы замка Марли в пригороде Парижа. Пресытившись напряженными официальными изображениями, королевская администрация заказала скульптору фигуры обнаженных юношей, сдерживающих вздыбившихся коней. Провенанс: Фотоархив частной коллекции. Sculptures jumelees Horse Tamers ou Marley Horses. Le groupe sculptural en marbre Horse Tamers a ete cree en 1740-1745. Guillaume Coustou l`Ancien (Guillaume Coustou I, 1677-1746) - un celèbre sculpteur français de la première moitie du XVIIIe siècle, qui a travaille à la decoration des palais et des parcs de Versailles, Marly, Tuileries et Trianon. Les sculptures ont ete commandees par Louis XV en marbre de Carrare pour decorer la terrasse du château de Marly en banlieue parisienne. Lassee des images officielles tendues, l`administration royale chargea le sculpteur de representer des figures de jeunes nus retenant des chevaux cabres. Provenance : Archives photographiques d`une collection privee. Les sculptures faisaient partie d`une collection privee situee dans le Palais du Liechtenstein. The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
