Schlanke, zweischneidige Stichklinge mit rhombischem Querschnitt. Auf den Seiten der Fehlschärfe geschlagene Signatur "ANTONINO PICININO". Eisernes Spangengefäß mit Faustbügel und S-förmig geschwungener Parierstange. Beidseitig große, fein durchbrochen gearbeitete Stichblätter. Vierfach gekehlte Hilze mit aufwändiger, originaler Eisendrahtwicklung und Türkenbünden. Achkantiger, pilzförmiger Knauf mit aufgesetztem Vernietkopf. Länge 116 cm.

Slender double-edged thrusting blade of diamond section. The signature "ANTONINO PICININO" struck on the sides of the ricasso. Iron hilt with bars, knuckle-guard, and vertically recurved quillons. Two large, finely pierced shell-guards. Four-lobed grip, elaborate original iron wire wrap and Turk's heads. Octagonal mushroom-shaped pommel with button at top. Length 116 cm.
Antonio Piccinino (1509-89), noted Italian bladesmith, active in Milan.
