Scharniergelagerte, oktagonale Schatulle, rundum mit Samt bezogen. Der Deckel ist reich mit Goldranken verziert. Mittig das Wappen von Papst Pius IX (Ineffabilis Deus). Innen Samt- und Stoffeinlage mit drei Aussparungen. Silber-Kruzifix mit applizierten Christuskorpus, Rankenwerk und Totenkopf, undeutlich punziert. Zwei sehr fein gearbeitete, reliefierte Muschelkameen. Eine Kamee mit 18ct Goldmontierung zeigt Johannes den Täufer mit dem Christusknaben. Die andere Kamee mit vergoldeter Silbermontierung zeigt die Mutter Gottes. Beigelegt ein in Tinte verfasstes Widmungsschreiben: "Vom Heiligen Vater erhalten nachdem ich mit Alfred und Maria, die Kommunion in seiner Hauskapelle aus seiner Hand erhalten hatte.…, den 11ten Oktober 1872 Sonntag 9 ½ Uhr". Schatulle mit Fehlstellen. Maße Schatulle: 30 x 30 cm, Höhe Kruzfix: 25 cm, Gewicht: 106 g, Höhe Kameen: 4,5 bzw 4,7 cm (ohne Öse)- Laut Eigentümer aus dem Besitz von Maria Gabrielle von Waldburg zu Zeil und Trauchburg, Gräfin Adelmann. Ihr Vater war Graf Waldburg Zeil.
