A PARCEL GILT-COPPER EMBOSSED FIGURE OF VAISHRAVANA - Tibeto - Chinese, late 18th c. - Standing in samabhanga with his right hand in vitarkamudra while the left is supporting the mongoose, wearing armour, wide-sleeved tunic, boots, separate embossed scarf floating around his shoulders, his face displaying a fierceful expression with protruding eyes below raised eyebrows, his red coloured lips framed by a moustache and goatee, beard, elongated earlobes and his blue coloured hairdo combed in a chignon. - From an old European private collection, acquired prior to 2000 - Mounted, very minor wear

Stehend im Samabhanga, die rechte Hand in Vitarkamudra, während die linke den Mungo hält, mit Rüstung, weitärmeliger Tunika, Stiefeln, separatem, geprägtem Schal, der um seine Schultern schwebt, sein Gesicht zeigt einen grimmigen Ausdruck mit hervortretenden Augen unter hochgezogenen Augenbrauen, seine rot gefärbten Lippen werden von einem Schnurrbart und einem Ziegenbart umrahmt, Bart, verlängerte Ohrläppchen und seine blau gefärbte Frisur ist zu einem Dutt gekämmt.
