Zweischneidiges, leicht gekehltes Blatt mit beidseitiger kräftiger Gratung. Am Ansatz fein geätzter und geschnittener doppelköpfiger Adler (eine Flügelspitze beschädigt), im Zentrum ein rundes Ornament mit ornamentalen Durchbrüchen. Konische Tülle mit Bandgliederung und seitlicher Kupfer-Lötnaht. Zwei lange Schaftfedern. Originaler geschwärzter Schaft. Länge 203 cm.
Friedrich August I. von Sachsen (1693 - 1733) entschloss sich 1725, die ehemalige Schweizer Leibgarde wieder aufleben zu lassen. Er änderte deshalb die Bezeichnung der immer noch bestehenden einheimischen Fusstrabantengarde in Schweizer Garde und ließ deren zunächst 88 Mann schrittweise durch Schweizer Söldner aus Zürich, Bern, Sankt Gallen und Freiburg ersetzen.

The double-edged, slightly ridged head with pronounced fullers on both sides. A fine etched and chiselled double-headed eagle at the root (the tip of one wing damaged), a circular ornament with decorative perforations at the centre. The conical socket segmented by bands, a soldered copper seam at the side. Two long side straps. Original blackened haft. Length 203 cm.
In 1725, Friedrich Augustus I of Saxony (1693 - 1733) decided to re-establish the former Swiss Guard. To do so, he changed the name of the existing national foot company of the trabant lifeguard to the Swiss Guard and gradually replaced the initial 88 guardsmen with Swiss mercenaries from Zurich, Bern, St. Gallen and Freiburg.

Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
