Technique: Gilt bronze. White marble.
Description: On rectangular marble base with curved edges, the fully sculpted figurine of the goddess
Athena with helmet and spear. She has a laurel wreath in her right hand, holding it over
the bust of Louis XVI. To the left of the postament-shaped clock case, Athena's shield
decorated with the head of Medusa and a cornucopia. Enamel dial with Arabic numerals and
Arabic minuterie. 14-day pendulum movement with spring suspension, half-hour strike on
bell.
Measurement: 44,5x35x17,5cm.
Mark: On dial inscr. "Manière A Paris".
