Kal. 16(BlackPowder), Kal. 16(BlackPowder), Nr. M1245, nummerngleich. Der linke Lauf gezogen, der rechte glatt, Länge 75 cm, Fertigung aus Damaststahl. In die Laufschiene integrierte Kimme mit drei Klappkimmen für 100, 200 und 250 yards. Zeitgenössischer brit. Beschuss. Oben an der Laufschiene bezeichnet "J.F.R. Greatrex. Walsall". An den buntgehärteten Schlössern jeweils "Chas Osborne". Doppelabzug. Schöne Nussholzschäftung mit Fischhaut, gering bestoßen. Am Vorderschaft links am Rand kleiner Ausbruch, gefolgt von Riss, kann durch behutsame Reparatur korrigiert werden. Ladestock vakant. Hinterschaftlänge 37 cm. Gesamtlänge 118 cm. Im Holzkoffer mit schwarzem Lederbezug. Leder stark beschädigt, der Deckel mit fehlenden Seiten, eine davon im Koffer beiliegend, und mittig instabil, der Filz ebenso altersbedingt mit Schäden. Kofferbänder gerissen. Kofferschloss defekt. Im Koffer beiliegend zwei Aufsätze für einen Putzstock, eine Pulverflasche sowie zwei Werkzeuge und eine Kugelzange für konische Geschosse.

Cal. 16(BlackPowder), Cal. 16(BlackPowder), SN. M1245, Matching numbers. The left barrel rifled, the right barrel smooth, length 75 cm, made of Damascus steel. Rear sight with three leaves for 100, 200 and 250 yards integrated into the barrel rib. Contemporary British proof mark. The top of the barrel rib marked "J.F.R. Greatrex. Walsall". The case-hardened locks marked "Chas Osborne". Double trigger. Finely grained and chequered walnut stock, minimally bumped. Small chipping on the left edge of the fore-arm, followed by a crack which can be improved by careful cleaning. Ramrod missing. Length of butt stock 37 cm. Overall length 118 cm. In wood case with black leather cover. Leather heavily damaged, the sides of the lid missing, one stored in the case, the centre soft, the baize also damaged due to old age. The case-straps torn, the lock broken. Two cleaning rod heads, one powder flask, two tools and a bullet mould for conical projectiles included in the case.
