Kaliber .44 BlackPowder, Nr. 41631, nummerngleich. Rauer, leicht korrodierter Lauf, Länge 8". Sechsschüssig. Fertigung 1862. Auf dem Lauf einzeilige Standardfirmierung , die Trommel mit dünner Rollgravur. Diverse Inspektormarks "C" und "D" an Lauf und Trommel. Alle Teile blank teilweise feine Narben. Abzugsbügel mit vorderem Griffband Messing. Glatte Nussholzgriffschalen, links Kartusche noch erkennbar. Diverse Schrauben ergänzt. Mechanisch in Ordnung. Länge circa 36 cm.
Interessantes Belegstück aus der Zeit des US-Bürgerkrieges. In neuzeitlicher Holzkassette mit diversem Repro-Zubehör, Schlüssel liegt bei. Maße circa 38,5x18,5x5,5 cm.

Cal. .44 BlackPowder, SN. 41631, matching numbers. Barrel length 82, frosted bore, some pitting. Six shots. Production date 1862. Single-line standard markings on the barrel, the cylinder with faded roll engraving. Various acceptance marks "C" and "D" on barrel and cylinder. Original finish rubbed off, some pinpricking. Trigger guard and front grip strap brass. Smooth walnut grips, the marking on the left one still visible. Some screws a replacement. Mechanically sound. Length circa 36 cm. An interesting specimen of a civil war-era gun!
In recent wooden case with accessories (replicas) and key, dimensions 38.5 x 18.5 x 5.5 cm.
