Große, aufwendig geschnittene Matrix aus massivem Eisen. Im Mittelfeld das Große Königlich Preußische Wappen König Wilhelms I. (Kaiser ab 1888). Der sehr feine Wappenschild flankiert von sich auf Keulen stützenden "wilden Männern". Am Rand umlaufende Inschrift: "GUILELMUS D. G. REX BORUSSORUM MARCH. BRANDENB. BURGGR. NURENB. COM. DE HOHENZOLLERN etc.". Das Griffstück mit dunkler Alterspatina. Durchmesser 82 mm.
Dieser Petschaftseinsatz diente zum Siegeln von Urkunden aus der Königlich Preußischen Kanzlei.

A seal with the Great Royal Prussian Coat of Arms from the reign of Kaiser Wilhelm I, circa 1866
Large, elaborately chiselled matrix in solid iron. The centre field with the large Royal Prussian coat of arms of Wilhelm I (Kaiser as of 1888). The extremely fine escutcheon flanked by 'wild men', leaning on clubs. The inscription around the edge reads: "GUILELMUS D. G. REX BORUSSORUM MARCH. BRANDENB. BURGGR. NURENB. COM. DE HOHENZOLLERN etc.". The handle with a dark age patina. Diameter 82 mm.
This seal insert was used to seal documents issued by the Royal Prussian Chancellery.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
