Runde, leicht gewölbte Scheibe mit von hinten ausgeführter Treibarbeit. Die ringsum verlaufende, erhabene Randleiste schräg geriffelt. In der Mitte ein nach rechts schreitender Greif mit deutlich dargestelltem Penis. Anatomische Details wie die Federn der Schwingen, die Quaste, die Mähne am Hals, Augen, Schnabel und die Pfoten durch gepunzte Linien ähnlich einem Tremolierstich markiert. Auf der Flanke ein Kreuz. Oben eine bronzene Blechlasche mit dem Rand der Phalera vernietet, um das Stück aufhängen zu können. Das Auge und das freie Feld zwischen Greif und Randleiste vergoldet. Auf dem rechten Flügel des Greifen und unter dem Bauch nachträglich eingeritzte antike Graffiti: drei Gesichter. Drei weitere, abstrakte Graffiti (Ovale mit Binnengliederung) zwischen den Hinter- und Vorderbeinen sowie zwischen Schnabel und rechtem Flügel. Bronzeöse und Rückseite partiell mit grünen Oxyden bedeckt. Die Schauseite gut gereinigt, sodass die originalen Farben voll zur Geltung kommen. Intakt. Durchmesser ohne Öse 8,8 cm, mit Öse 10,3 cm.
Seltenes und sehr gut erhaltenes Exemplar finno-ugrischer Silberschmiedekunst, das von mittelasiatischen Einflüssen zeugt, mit interessanten zeitgenössischen Graffiti.

Round, slightly domed disc decorated in repoussé. Diagonally ribbed, raised rim. In the centre a striding griffin, facing right, with prominent phallus. Anatomical details such as the feathers of the wings, tuft, mane, eyes, beak and paws marked by stamped lines resembling a zig-zag assay mark. A cross on the flank. A bronze sheet metal tab riveted to the upper edge of the phalera for suspension. The eye and the vacant field between the griffin and the trim gold-plated. The right wing of the griffin and the space below the belly incised with ancient graffiti: three faces. Three more abstract graffiti (oval shapes with dividing lines) between the hind and front legs and between the beak and the right wing. Bronze eyelet and reverse partially covered by green oxides. The obverse well cleaned, revealing the original colours. Intact. Diameter without eyelet 8.8 cm, with eyelet 10.3 cm.
Rare and well-preserved piece of Finno-Ugric silversmithing that gives evidence of Middle Asian influences, with interesting ancient graffiti.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments.
