A fine copy which also includes the supplements of this important encyclopedic collection dedicated to the religious rites of all peoples and accompanied by numerous finely engraved plates.

8 parts in 9 volumes, folio (390 x 245mm). Half-titles, titles printed in red and black, 244 (of 250) plates of which several folding: first volume, 28 (of 29, no. 25 is missing); second, 33; third, 17 (of 19, n. 4,7 are missing); fourth, 13; fifth, 24; sixth, 45; seventh, 57 (of 58, n.5 is missing); seventh second part, 5; eighth, 22 (of 24, n.9 and 9 are missing in the second part), headpieces and illustrations in text (some browning and occasional staining). Contemporary calf with decorations and title in gold on covers and spine, with gilt exlibris of the Marquis of Bouzols, marbled endpapers (slight defects and small chips). First of all, you should register to be able to purchase at auction. The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
