Superbe exemplaire sur pur chiffon Isle de France, tel que paru, de l’édition originale de ce livre hommage de Jean Cocteau à son ami Picasso. Les textes de ce recueil publié à l’occasion du 80e anniversaire de Picasso, tous signés par Cocteau, ont été réunis à l’initiative de son éditeur, Pierre Bertrand. Il débute par une touchante préface de Cocteau : « trente années d’échanges n’ont pu diminuer le respect que je te porte et la crainte que j’éprouve lorsque je pense que mon travail affrontera ton œil Perce-Neige. Aussi ne faut-il pas, indique-t-il, chercher dans ce livre la moindre parole de juge, mais le simple témoignage d’un ami ». Goeppert-Cramer, Picasso, n° 117. Un des 25 exemplaires numérotés de XXVI à L sur papier pur chiffon à la main Isle de France, exécutés spécialement et à la main par A.-G. Cabrol, filigranés aux signatures de Picasso et de Cocteau, celui-ci le n°XXXVIII. Exemplaire signé au crayon par l’auteur et l’artiste.
In-4 (373 x 275 mm). 24 lithographies originales de Picasso sur papier report, dont une pour la couverture, une en frontispice et deux à double-page. En feuilles, sous couverture de papier carton remplié, illustrée d’une lithographie de Picasso, imprimée en gris et vert et découpée en forme d’un profil de tête avec le titre imprimé sur une feuille de papier vélin sur le front. Chemise et étui de l’éditeur (légers frottements à la chemise et l’étui). L’exemplaire comprend également l’emboîtage original de l’éditeur en carton.

First of all, you should register to be able to purchase at auction. The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". Click on it and you will be on the auction catalog page, where you can easily find the category "Results". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
