1981. Gouache. D. 64 cm. U. Mitte sign. und dat. Dorazio 1981, unter Glas gerahmt, ungeöffnet. - Italienischer Maler, Bühnenbildner, Keramiker und Kunstschriftsteller, einer der führenden abstrakten Maler seines Landes. D. war bereits früh künstlerisch tätig, ein Architekturstudium brach er aber 1951 ab. Schon bevor er 1948 mit einem Stipendium der französischen Regierung in Paris studieren konnte, war er in der Kunstszene Italiens und Frankreichs gut vernetzt, Mitbegründer von Künstlergruppen und Mitverfasser von künstlerischen Programmschriften. 1953/54 war er auch in Harvard und New York und knüpfte auch hier viele Kontakte, 1963 wurde er in Baltimore Professor. Später war er auch in Düsseldorf und Berlin tätig. Seine Werke waren u.a. wiederholt auf der Documenta ausgestellt. Mus.: New York (MoMA, Guggenheim), London (Tate, V&A), Berlin (Neue Nat.-Gal.), Frankfurt (Städel), Ludwigshafen (Wilhelm-Hack-Museum), Mailand, Florenz, Wien, Washington u.a. Lit.: AKL, Vollmer u.a.

The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
Each of the auction houses has its own payment policy for the won lots. All auction houses accept bank transfers, most of them accept credit card payments. In the near future you will find detailed information for each case in the section "Auction information" on the page of the auction catalog and the lot.
Shipment of the won lot depends on its size. Small items can be delivered by post. Larger lots are sent by courier. Employees of the auction houses will offer you a wide range to choose from.
