datiert 1851 und signiert, Gießerstempel Rolland Fondeur Paris und Stempel Bronze Garanti Au Titre A.L., weitere unleserliche gestempelt Buchstaben, recto bezeichnet Goethe, Bronze ziseliert und hell grünlich-braun patiniert, Brustdarstellung des deutschen Dichters und Naturforschers Johann Wolfgang von Goethe im Pelzmantel, gute Erhaltung, Höhe gesamt 13 cm. Künstlerinfo: französischer Bildhauer und Medailleur (1794–1866), studierte 1814 an der Pariser Kunstakademie, stellte ab 1819 im Salon aus, 1924 Übersiedlung nach Spanien, wo er später im Auftrag der Regierung eine Skulptur König Ferdinands VII. schuf, 1848 Rückkehr nach Paris, fertigte vorwiegend Portraitbüsten, Bekanntheit erlangte er durch die Darstellung Kardinal Talleyrand Perigords, 1839 vollendete er die für das Stadthaus zu Paris bestimmte Statue des Bildhauers Jean Goujon. The results of the auction are published within a few days after the end of the auction. In the top menu of the site, find the tab "Auctions". After opening it, select the desired auction from the list, enter and view the current status of the interested lot.
The information about the auction winners is confidential. The auction winner will receive a direct notification from the auction house responsible with instructions for further action: an invoice for payment and the manner in which the goods will be received.
